Shonna Holker

Shonna Joan Holker, age 80, of Crosslake, MN, and Green Valley, AZ, passed away at her home with her family at her side on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born on February 4, 1935, in Minneapolis to Marlin and Angela (Merz) Frigaard. Shonna was a Robbinsdale High School graduate, Class of 1953. She married David G. Holker on February 4, 1978, in Las Vegas, NV. Shonna retired from JCPenney in 1987.

Shonna loved life adventures, traveling with her husband and spending time at the lake with her grandchildren. She also loved her retirement years in Green Valley, AZ, with her friends.

Shonna is survived by her husband, David G. Holker; daughter, Kim Anderson (David) of Robbinsdale, MN; son, Michael Clasen (Jennifer) of Pequot Lakes; brother, Thomas Frigaard of Minneapolis; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Angela Frigaard; first husband, Donald G. Clasen; daughter, Elizabeth Clasen; brother, James Frigaard; and sister, Nancy Lorberbaun.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Thursday, October 29, at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Crosslake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's charity of choice.
