Shirley Lambert

Shirley Ann Lambert, 76, of Verndale, passed away on September 28, 2024.

Shirley was born on December 10, 1947 to Herman and Florence (Sklenicka) Lambert in Bertha, Minnesota. She graduated high school from Staples and worked as a waitress. After moving to the cities with three roommates, she worked in payroll at Long Year Company for many years.

Shirley enjoyed movies, and watching tv. She enjoyed cooking and trying different recipes. Most importantly, she loved her kitties, Mitzy Kitty and Stretchy (Little Boy).

Shirley is survived by her nieces and nephews, Brenda (Mike) Hebl of Embarrass, MN, Douglas Anderson of Julian, NC, Susan (Rodney) Meier of Babbitt, MN; great nieces and nephews, Tyrel (Amber) Hebl, Sarah (Kyle) Lamppa, Jared (DeeDee) Meier, Cierra (Scott) Brelie, Charles (Megan) Anderson, Anthony Anderson; and many great great nieces and nephews; and her loving kitties, Mitzy Kitty, and Stretchy (Little Boy). She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Nancy Anderson and Herbert Lambert; and ex-brother-in-law Ronald Anderson.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Balsamlund Lutheran Church Cemtery in Aldrich, MN, for family and close friends. Arrangements have been entrusted with Brenny Family Funeral Chapel.
