Shirley Kronstedt

Shirley "Eileen" E. Kronstedt, 87, formerly of Minneapolis, MN died on February 28, 2013 at Good Samaritan Village-Elmwood House in Brainerd, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church 1108 Willow Street Brainerd, MN at 11:00 AM with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. A luncheon will follow services at the church.

Shirley was born on August 4, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN to William and Mary (Menard) Patnode. She married Charles "Chuck" Kronstedt on March 19, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN. Eileen was a scout leader for the brownies and girl scouts , and was a den mother for the boy scouts. She enjoyed sewing and doing cross-stich. She sold Avon for over 50 years and was a member of the Rosary Society of Ascension in Minneapolis for many years.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles; children, Suzanne Bell, William (Mary); and John (Joanne); nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary; and sister, Deloris.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
