Shirley Benson

Shirley Benson, 75, of Pequot Lakes died on Monday, March 4, 2013 at her home. Services for Shirley will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter, MN with Pastor Lilja Behr officiating with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Shirley was born on February 17, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Jennie (Doty) Kramer. She married Carl Benson on September 16, 1967. Shirley was a member of the Red Hat Club and Nisswa Women's Club. She enjoyed golf and was a devoted wife and caretaker.

Shirley is survived by her son, Tim; grandchild, David; sister, Patricia; and an aunt, Dori. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and her parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
