Sharron Hoemberg

Sharron J. Hoemberg, age 66, of Staples, passed away at her home on Monday, November 22. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, December 4th, at 11:00 AM, at the Staples United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4-6, at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples, and one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Sharron was born on March 24, 1944, to Leo and Anne (Theiringer) Reilley, in Anoka, MN. She was raised on a farm and graduated from Anoka High School in 1962. She married Paul Kuntz Sr. in 1964. The marriage ended in divorce in 1982, but was blessed with three children. In 1988 she married Thomas Hoemberg, in Milbank, SD, and they moved to Staples in 1989. Sharron worked as an assembler at Homecrest, until she retired in 2005. She loved to cook, bake, and sew. She enjoyed sharing her love of flower gardening, birds, and nature with her family and friends.

Sharron is survived by her husband, Thomas of Staples; children, Paula (Lee) Schlosser of Loretto and Paul "PJ" (Kim) Kuntz Jr. of Dalbo; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Lindsey; her parents; and one sister.

Memorials are preferred to the Tri-County Hospice.
