Sharon Holder

Sharon Holder, 73, of Brainerd passed away peacefully on November 30, 2012.

Sharon was born October 15, 1939 in Staples, MN, to Clarence and Beulah (Johnson) Blahosky. Sharon graduated from Staples High School and in 1957 she married Roger Holder of Osakis, MN. They had three children and resided in Brainerd, where Sharon worked at Van's Café, Harold's Club, and Champion Auto before to attempted retirement. However, her love of people drew her back into the working world where she sold pull-tabs at Poncho and Lefty's for the Baxter Lions Club. Sharon enjoyed fishing and liked to travel to Laughlin, NV with her friends. She also loved to host Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for her family.

Sharon is survived by her children, John (Terri) Holder, Jeff (Wendy) Holder, and Jill (Frank Charnetzki) Meyer, all of Brainerd; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel and following the services at Poncho and Lefty's in Baxter.
