Sharon Grunwald

Sharon Kay (Sharie Weishalla) Grunwald passed away July 25th, 2009, at Lakewood Health Systems, Staples, MN. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Staples. Friends are welcome to gather beginning at 2:00 PM at the Chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery at Staples.

She was born July 23, 1965, in Wadena, MN, the daughter of Jerome (Jerry) and Lillian (Holub) Weishalla. She was presently employed at Ernies Food Market the past 6 years. Prior to that she was employed at Ultra Color.

In her past time, she loved to read most any type of novels, do some gardening & canning, go camping and do some fishing, and she also loved the weekly T.V. show The Closer.

She leaves behind 3 children, Justin Grunwald (fiancé, Alyssa Scharver), Amy Grunwald and Cassy Grunwald, all of Staples, MN; five sisters, Bonnie Whitkop, Barb (Dennis) Dahl, Beverly Hahn, Carol (Kevin) Tabery, and Patty (Lou) Dirkes; 2 brothers, Jerry (Connie) Pribbenow, Lynn (Tracy )Weischalla. Also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, brother-in-law and friends.
