Sharon Christoffer

Sharon Christoffer, age 67, of Baxter, passed away peacefully at her home early Tuesday morning. Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd. Friends are invited to gather beginning at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Church to visit with her family before Services. Interment will be in the Spring in Lake Ripley Cemetery at Litchfield, MN.

Sharon Lee Christoffer was born on May 23, 1943, in Litchfield, MN, the daughter of Temple and Eleanor (Gray) Hicks. She grew up and attended school in Litchfield. On August 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Rodney Christoffer in Watertown SD. To this union 3 sons, Bryant, Lance, and Jason, were born. Sharon and Rodney were able to share over 46 years of marriage together. Spending time with her grandchildren, camping, doing crossword puzzles, cooking and baking for her family and friends, and an occasional trip to the Casino were things Sharon enjoyed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Temple and Eleanor; brothers, Charles and Edward; sisters, Marie, Jane, and Shirley; and a grandchild, Jennifer. Sharon will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Rodney; sons, Bryant Christoffer of Wasta, SD, Lance (Sherri Rognstad) Christoffer, of Champlin, MN, and Jason Christoffer of Elk River, MN; sisters, Ann (Gordon) Lien, and Dorothy (Don) Zenner; brother, Richard (Delores) Hicks; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jon, Nathaniel, Justin, Katlin, Nolan, Peyton, Bailey, and Keira; 4 great grandchildren; and many friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
