Sharon Louise (Wing) Bienusa, age 71, of Staples, passed away at the Lakewood Health System Hospital on Sunday, February 22, 2009. A Funeral Mass is planned for Thursday, February 26, at 10:30 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Fr. Scott Wittkop officiating. The Wake will be Wednesday from 5-8 at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. Sharon was born on January 12, 1938 to Charles and Bertha Wing in Duluth, MN. She graduated from Denfield High School, Duluth, MN in 1956, and was active in school activities. She met Roger Bienusa in Minneapolis in April, 1959 and married on August 29, 1959. Sharon and Roger were blessed with 12 children, 21 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Sharon was active in all of her childrens school activities and attended many games and events. She was enthusiastic about everyones talents and accomplishments. Sharon enjoyed todays technology. She loved her computer, visiting with cyber friends, and playing internet games. She loved to read, work in her yard with her flowers, relax by the swimming pool, and listen to her wind chimes. She was a good cook, but loved to go out to eat frequently with Roger and their children. Sharon loved to travel and she traveled all over the United States. Her greatest travel experience was to England and Ireland; she would have loved to go back there some day. Sharon loved animals and often had a pet companion. Over the years she had many friends; whom she loved very much. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, Erwin; and her daughter, Kathleen. Sharon I survived by her husband, Roger; children, Colleen (Tim) March, Gloria (Ross) Luebke, George (Patricia) Bienusa, Patrick (Kelly) Bienusa, Linda (Allan) Ness, Beverly (Steve MacRunnels) Anderson, Roger Jr. (Julie) Bienusa, Jelene (Scott) Coyer, Ronald (Jenny) Bienusa, Heather Bienusa, and A.J. Bienusa; grandchildren. Holly, Timothy, Daniel, Matthew, Ada, Stephanie, Cory, Dillon, Drew, Karissa, Dustin, Jordan, Taylor, Mitchell, Trevor, Andrea, Levi, Sara, Christopher, Charlie, and Iris; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan, Jayce, Julie, Tessa, and Noah; brothers, Sherman, Robert, and Donald Wing; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
