Sharen Olek

Sharen M. Olek, age 64, of Nisswa, died peacefully March 19, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Melbourne, Florida, due to complications of treatment for lung cancer.


She is preceded in death by brother, Carl Anderson; sisters: Mabel Hein, Karen Pannek; and stepson, Donald Olek.

Sharen is survived by loving husband of 38 years, Roger; son, Judd; granddaughter, Aleasha Ellingboe; grandson, Chaise Ellingboe; brother, Richard Anderson; sister, Donna Nichols; stepchildren, Jim and Laura Olek; step grandchildren: Jennifer Olek, Krista Olek, Kalli Olek, Kyle Olek, Nicole Neubert, Aly Olek, Elise Olek.

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Service will be 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, with visitation from 11 AM until the time of the service at Kline Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
