Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell, age 47, of Pillager passed away suddenly on December 19, 2009. Services will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Pastor Terry Stumbo officiating. Reception will follow at the Brenny Reception Hall.
Scott Allan Mitchell was born to Allan and Carol (Hanson) Mitchell on October 19, 1962, in Groton, CT. He attended Pillager High School, graduating with the class of 1980.

Scott worked as an electrical substation technician for United Welding for 12 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and golfing.

He is survived by his son, Justin (Amber Hack) Mitchell of Baxter; mother, Carol Mitchell of Pillager; siblings, Crystal (Keith) Olson of Brainerd, Eric (Shelly) Mitchell of Baxter, and Kari (Daniel) Davis of Staples; one grandchild, Alexis Weston.

Preceded in death by father, Allan Mitchell; grandparents, Josephine Mitchell Hagstrom, Roy Mitchell, Otis and Doris Hanson.
