Scott Brynteson

d. April 1, 2013

Scott J. Brynteson, 54, of Brainerd died on Monday, April 1, 2013 at his home. A gathering of family and friends are invited to attend on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN from 10:00-11:00AM.

Scott was born on December 1, 1959 in Shakopee, MN to William and Gloria Brynteson. He later moved with his parents to Brainerd, MN where he made his home and raised his children, Billy Brynteson and Tyler McDonald.

He spent most of his life working in excavating and took pride in his skills on a bobcat and could out maneuver the best. He currently was putting his many skills to use working at S and W Bait.

Scott loved spending his time working on cars, dirt bikes, motorcycles, sleds, and race cars and anything else that had a motor that he could make go fast. He loved fishing and hunting, spending time with friends, but most of all he loved spending his free time with his family, children, and grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Scott was always there to lend a hand and would go out of his way to help anyone. He loved to joke and have a good time. He would try anything once and was always good for a story about one of his many escapades. Scott could fix anything and always had an answer for any question you threw at him. Scott had a carefree attitude and would always bring light into the room. He was counted on by many and will be sadly missed.

Scott is survived by his parents, Bill and Gloria Brynteson; sons, Billy (Cassie)Brynteson and Tyler McDonald; best friends and siblings, Cheryl Borders, Nancy O'Brien, and Alan (Carolyn) Brynteson; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Tess. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and aunt.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
