Sandra Scofield

Sandra Lee Scofield, 67, of Aitkin, passed away on November 3, 2011, at her home. She was born March 9, 1944, to Edward and Henriette Shea of Winnebago, MN. She and her husband, Larry, were married November 4, 1959. They have five children. They lived in Winnebago until 1978, when they moved to the Aitkin area.


Sandy had worked for Barnacle Bills and the North Shore Restaurant, Deerwood Rice and Grain, New Frontier Foods, and also at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs. She loved her pets, fishing, traveling, rock hunting, antiques, and being with her family.


Sandy is survived by her husband, Larry; their children: Deb (Randy) Kahn of Cook, Tony (Lisa) Scofield of Box Elder, SD, Geri (Kendall) Johnson of Ironton, Bernie Scofield (Mark Pirner) of Aitkin, Jacki (Jeff) Rinta of Aitkin; sister, Sheila (Wayne) Brouilliard of Burnsville; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews; and a special little dog, Tubby.


She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny; infant grandson; infant great granddaughter; and special pets, Maggie, her cougar, and Oscar, her little dog.

A private family memorial will be held.
