On December 29th, 1967 she married the love of her life, Dennis Buell in Galva. They were together always until his passing in 2007. Dennis and Ruth lived on the family farm in Schaller where they raised their two children Ryan and Jennifer. In 2005, they moved to Pequot Lakes, MN. Ruth lived in the house that she and Dennis built together until moving to assisted living at Golden Horizons in Cross Lake. She worked many years for Walmart and made many special friends there. She was a strong and independent woman. She had a love of music, especially singing in a number of choirs. She loved gardening and canning. She was an excellent cook and her passion was food and feeding those around her. She always had something sweet in the house. Her greatest joy however was her family.
