Ruth Petrich

Ruth Sophia Petrich, 99, of Randall, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Good Samaritan Village - Woodland in Brainerd. Services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, March 5 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Randall City Cemetery.

Ruth was born April 17, 1913 in Parker Township in Morrison County, the daughter of Charles and Hilda (Petersson) Carlson. She was united in marriage to Albert Petrich on December 4, 1938 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Parkers Township. Ruth, Albert and their family farmed all of Ruth's life. She was a homemaker and had a deep devotion to her family. She enjoyed reading and baking, but most of all she loved to be with her family.

She will be missed by her children, Joan (Ray) Burnett, of Brainerd, Virgil (Bonnie) Petrich, of St. Charles, MO, Karen (Ashley) Oothoudt, of Moorhead, Dale (Wanda) Petrich, of Prior Lake, and Alan (Grace) Petrich, of Motley; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents; brother, Gust and Edwin; and sister, Violet Anderson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall.
