Ruth Michaelis

Ruth Michaelis, 83, passed away on October 12, 2022. Services will be at 11am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Living Savior Church in Nisswa with a visitation starting one hour prior.

Ruth was born to Nels and Ruth (Phelps) Fostveit in Waseca Minnesota. She married Richard Michaelis and moved to Bloomington where they raised their family. Ruth worked at Rosemount Engineering for 25+ years where she met many life-long friends.

Since 1969, Ruth enjoyed the Brainerd Lakes Area and after retiring, her and Richard moved to their home on Gull Lake. Ruth was known as a giving and caring person who enjoyed boating, motorcycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and being with friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Ruth is survived by her children, Rick, Paul, and Lanna. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard; and her parents Nels and Ruth.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
