Ruth Holton

Ruth P. Holton, age 86, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River, after a very brief stay. She was born to Clinton and Pearl (Reed) Drury in Henriette, MN, on January 19, 1928. She was married to Alvin W. Holton for 42 years.

Ruth is survived by her children: Larry (Patricia) of St. Paul Park, Catherine (Thomas) Daley of Pine River, Charles (Donna Hanlon) of Faribault, William of Faribault, Anna DeLong of Walker; sister, Beatrice Vogt of South St. Paul; son-in-law, Gene Reiss; 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; daughter, Marilyn Reiss; son, Dennis; 8 brothers; 4 sisters; and grandson, John.

Services will be 1 PM on Saturday, May 31, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
