Ruth Hoag

Ruth Hoag, 67, of Crosslake, passed away on Sunday, March 2, in Tucson, AZ, supported by her loving family.

She was born in January 1947 in Breckenridge, MN. She grew up in Pipestone, MN. Ruth received her nursing training at Miller Hospital, St. Paul.

Ruth is survived by her special friend, Ed Frerk; children, Stephen (Renee) Horning of San Angelo, TX, Susan (Jonathan) Arntz of Waconia, MN, Jane (Wayne) Kemper of Cottage Grove, MN, Jennifer (John) Bestenlehner of Louisville, KY, Jeff (Sandi) Hoag of Nisswa, MN, and Brian (Shannon) Hoag of Ogden, UT; 14 grandchildren; sister, Mary (Jon) Winge, Willmar, MN; and brother, John Setterlund of Urbana, IL.

She follows into heaven her parents, Ray and Helen Setterlund; brother, David Setterlund; and husband, Corky Hoag.

Memorial Service will be held at Crosslake Lutheran Church on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior. Memorials are preferred to Camp Knutson. A private family internment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel, Crosslake, MN.
