Ruth Edwardson

Ruth M. Edwardson, age 86, of Lino Lakes, passed away on Tuesday, Oct 30. Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, at 1:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, on Tuesday, November 6, at 2:15 PM.

Ruth was born on November 8, 1925, in Belle Plain, MN, to Carl and Mamie (Schmidt) Johnson. On November 4, 1970 she married Carl Edwardson. Ruth retired in 2004, after 37 years of driving school bus. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries and the Lions Club.

Survivors are her children, Cindi (James) Moore, Pat (Tom Stace) Guggenberger, Shirley (Ron) Swanson, Jim Guggenberger, Ted (Lois) Guggenberger, 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Hazel Abbott. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl, sons Swede, Gary and Chuck, daughter-in-law, Kitty, granddaughter, Brenda, and great-granddaughter, Tiffany.
