Ruby Taubert

Ruby L. Taubert, age 80, of Motley, passed away on Sunday, March 11 at the Lakewood Health Care Center in Staples. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 10:00am in Brenny Funeral Chapel, Staples, with Pastor Richard Hays officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Ruby Louise Taubert was born on March 19, 1926 to Ernest and Mary Munsterman, in Appleton, MN. She graduated from high school and on November 16, 1943 was united in marriage to Raymond Taubert. She was employed at St. Marys Hospital in Minneapolis, where she worked more than twenty years in administration. Upon retirement she moved to Motley to be near her daughter, Randy where she has resided until present. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Randy (Glen) Vasecka; 4 grandchildren, Melanie, Tasha, Lewis, and Elizabeth; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eileen Hays of Oregon, Edna Johnson of Minneapolis; and a special friend, Margaret Fischer. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Rolland; and her parents.
