Rosie Detty

Rosie Mae Detty, age 91, of Pine River, passed away at her home on October 26, 2015. She was born in Exline, Iowa, on March 28, 1924, to Frank and Josie Large. She married Russell Detty on July 17, 1944, in Seattle, Washington.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Janice May Detty of Rochester, Minnesota; three grandsons: Chris and Randy of Baltimore, Maryland and Russell Patrick Michael Detty of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters: Wanda June Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada and Louise Mishoe of Holland, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Russell on October 23, 2006, her son, David Michael in January of 1989, her son, Russell Patrick in January of 2014; her brothers, Henry, Ken, Bud, Gene; and her sisters, Marie, Bernice, Mary, Noreen and Beth.

Rosie was a strong woman with a quick wit and a sharp tongue. She will be dearly missed.
