Rosemary True

Rosemary J. True, 91, formerly of Buffalo, Iowa and Backus, Minnesota, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Kahl Home in Davenport, IA.

Rosemary was born April 19, 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Fox) Northrup. On March 2, 1946 she married Harold True in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death in January of 2005.
She was a homemaker. Her memberships included St. Peter's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society in Buffalo, Iowa and the Buffalo Fire Department Auxiliary. She loved crafts, crocheting, and was an excellent seamstress.

Survivors include her children and spouses: Tom and Neva True and Mary Ellen True, all of Stockton, Iowa and Bruce and Yvonne True of Mitchellville, Iowa; grandchildren: Melanie, Robin, Tommy, Jr., Brooke, and Gallaway; 15 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Kline Funeral Home in Pine River followed by burial at the Evergreen Cemetery in Backus.
