Rosella Lanske

Rosella A. (Erickson) Lanske, age 72, of Staples, passed away at the Lakewood Health System Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2007. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 25 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Staples with Rev Robin Collins officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples from 5-7 with a prayer service at 6:30. Burial will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. Rose was born on March 25, 1935 in Pillager, MN to Frank and Marie (Watzelt) Erickson. She attended country school, graduating from the 8th grade. She met Arthur Lanske at a dance and on May 16, 1953 they were married. Together they raised four children in the Staples area. She enjoyed football games, parades, fairs, rides in the country, watching kids, cooking, and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and great-grandma Rose was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Kim (Diane), Loretta (Steve), Loren, Regina (Donald), and Laura (Stan); 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Shirley Denning, and brother, Harold Erickson
