Rose Winch

Rosemarie (Rosie) Joyce (Ubinger) Winch, 76, of Pine River, MN passed away in her home on December 21, 2013. A family gathering will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. A memorial service will be at a later date.

Rosie was born on April 14, 1937 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Arthur and Antionette (Crotteau) Ubinger. She married Arthur Winch in 1972 and they were later divorced. She worked for Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center in Pine River, MN for several years until she retired. She was a loving and giving person, donating to numerous charities including Easter Seals, AdoptaPlatoon for troops deployed in operation Harm's Way, and the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund, were just a few. Rosie was a loving and caring person who would help people any way she could.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Kim (LaGraves) Milder of Long Prairie, MN and sons, John (Christine) Winch of Brainerd, MN and Richard (Betsy) Miller of Manitowoc, WI; brother, William (Barb) Nelson of Nekoosa, WI; sisters, Esther (Oscar) Erickson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Ginger (Jerry) Rosen of Rice Lake, WI; along with numerous nieces and nephews; six step-children; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, John Nelson; brother, Curtis Ubinger; daughter, Debra LaGraves; great-granddaughter, Amber Johnson; and her ex-husband, Arthur Winch.
