Ronald Hendricks

Ronald F. Hendricks, 74, formerly of Watertown, MN died on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Services for Ronald will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00AM at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake, MN with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, MN.

Ron was born November 5, 1940, in Watertown, MN, the son of Orville and Elizabeth (Koehnen) Hendricks. In 1958, he graduated from Watertown High School and enlisted in the Army National Guard. He was united in marriage to Sharon Lemke and the couple had two children, Cory and Sara. He worked construction his entire life. In the late 70's Ron moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area. On April 28, 1982, he married Lois Lange. Ron liked his job, so he often spent his free time woodworking. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Most of all, Ron cherished the time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Cory (Rishona) Hendricks of Brainerd, MN, and Sara (Matthew) Bateman of San Diego, CA; step-children, Kim (Stephen) Wetzel of Chaska, MN, Jim (Teryl) Lange of Ulm, MT, and Tim (Joelle) Lange of Burnsville, MN; brothers, Jerry (Maxine) Hendricks of Watertown, MN, and Jim (Lois) Hendricks of Watertown, MN; sister, Margaret (Hiestand) of Florida; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Elizabeth. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
