Ronald Atwater

Ronald Atwater, age 73, of Breezy Point, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at his home. He was born to Glenore and Pearl Atwater on December 12, 1941, in Manhattan Beach, MN. Ron served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Dolly Bogdon on June 20, 1973, in California. Ron loved fishing and hunting. He was very proud of all his grandchildren and loved watching them in their activities.

Ron is survived by his wife, Dolly; son, Chris (Caterina); grandchildren: Shane Owen, Niki Atwater, Laura Atwater, Kevin Atwater, Kayden Hatfield; foster child, Shawn Adkins; brothers: Dennis (Bobbi), Glen; sister-in-law, Gloria "Sam"; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Ace; sisters, Kathy and Linda.

Services will be 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 21, at Eagles Nest Church, Breezy Point. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Emily.
