"Rollie" Kollodge

Rollie" Roland D. Kollodge, 74, of East Gull Lake died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at his home. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1:00-3:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

Rollie was born on November 17, 1938 in Little Falls, MN to Peter and Frances (Schibella) Kollodge. He married Mary Horak on October 24, 1967. Rollie was a truck driver for 28 years with Glendenning. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Rollie was always planting flowers of some kind.

Rollie will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary; children, Kevin Kollodge of Pillager, MN; Randy (Diane) Kollodge of Brainerd, MN, Gerald Kollodge of Minneapolis, MN, Mary Lee Greenspan of NowThen, MN, and Jill (Paul) Stromgren of Johnston, IA; many grandchildren; and sisters, Renette Welenski of Little Falls, MN and Cleo Beniek of Flenberg, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Frances; brother, Clarence; and an infant granddaughter, Karla Jalayne Stromgren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
