Roger Nyberg

Roger Nyberg, 76, of Crosslake, died at his home Monday, February 09, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 13, at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN with visit one hour prior to service. Memorials are preferred.
Roger was born on June 30, 1932 in Minneapolis, son of Oscar and Elin (Gadney) Nyberg. Following graduation from Hopkins High School, he graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On October 1, 1956, in Minneapolis, he was united in marriage to Barbara Jackson. He owned and operated Edwards Sales Corp in St. Louis Park until his retirement. They moved to Crosslake and wintered in Arizona. Roger enjoyed golfing, boating, snowmobiling, fireworks and collecting Native American wood working.

Roger will be missed by his children, Nancy (Richard Thomas) Nyberg of Charlotte, NC, John Nyberg of Crosslake; sister, Naomi Nelson, of Richfield; five grandchildren, Brenna, Sean, Nicholas, Alexander and Michael.

His wife, Barbara and his parents preceded him in death.
