Roger Melser, 69, unexpectedly passed away on March 25th, 2017 at St. Cloud Hospital
from several health conditions due to exposure to Agent Orange while serving in the Navy in Vietnam.
Roger was born in Princeton, MN to Blanche Melser. He worked at Savannah State Park, Long Lake Conservation Center, Yukon, City of Tamarack and finally retired from McGregor Public School.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy, two children; Cora (Jesse) Martin and Jason (Tara) Melser. He also leaves behind six grand – daughters; Autumn, Isabelle, Noelle, Hailey, Lacey and Brooke. He is survived by two brothers; Al (Pat) Melser, Joe (Karen) Melser, seven sister; Brenda Sue (Lonnie) Austin, Kathy Amundson, Val (James) Fuller, Linda Flor, Milly Nielsen, Bonnie (Norman) Piri, and Sam (Ron) Wyttenback, and many nieces and nephews. As well as his many friends from PTS Tours.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, daughter Jennifer, two brothers; Ron Melser and Fred Melser, two sister; Patty Melser and Barbara Melser, and niece Sherry Melser.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 3rd at Brenny Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home.
