Robert "Bob" Marsh

Robert Dale Marsh, 65, of Brainerd, MN passed away March 15, 2019 at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd. Services for Bob will be 11:00AM, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Brenny Family Chapel in Baxter, MN with Pastor Mike Kistner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Bob was born December 20, 1953 in Iowa City, IA to Ray and Verla (Schwartz) Marsh. He grew up in rural communities in Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota. In 1981, Bob married Linda Harman in Spencer, IA. They lived in Omaha, NE, where he graduated from the Electronic Computer Programming Institute. They moved to Brainerd in 1987, where he found a career in IT at the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center.

Bob is survived by his son, Rob Marsh; daughter, Melissa (Dustin) Morgan; siblings, Marylyn Bruce, Jan Johnson, Don Marsh and Dave Marsh; nephews and nieces, Rick, Ken, Dan, Chris, Dave, Sarah and Hannah; and one granddaughter, Lily Morgan.
