Roberta Workman

Roberta Workman, age 93, of Nisswa, MN passed away on May 9, 2022 at the Lakewood Care Center in Staples. There are no services planned at this time.

Roberta was born Roberta Salley in Kansas City, MO to James and Serena (Gatewood) Salley. She married Lyle Richardson of Rochester, NY in March 1945. They had one daughter, Salley Dunn of Pequot Lakes, MN. She was married a second time in 1975 to Virgil Workman, who passed away in August 2009.

She worked many years around the Nisswa area, including the Nisswa school as a head cook until 1992. She was also a Nisswa Legion Auxiliary Member for 45 years. Roberta loved to sew and make quilts. She was well known in the community.

Roberta will be sadly missed by her daughter, Salley (John), her granddaughter Shelley (Jay), her great grandson, Brady, all of Charleroi, PA, a dear friend Maurice Davis of Pine River, her nephew Michael Foster, and her niece Judith Mattson.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pequot Lakes.
