Robert Wiebesick

Robert "Bob" Wiebesick, 67, of Staples, MN died Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM at the Staples Assemblies of God Church in Staples, MN with the Memorial Service for Bob at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2016 with Pastor Roy Miles officiating.

Bob was born April 13, 1948 in Wadena, MN to Martin and Ruth (Bendson) Wiebesick. He was raised north of Staples in the Wahoo Valley area. Bob graduated from Verndale High School in 1966, and graduated from Bemidji State College in 1970. He began working with Gladen Construction out of LaPorte, MN in road construction and continued with them for forty years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, 4 wheeling and trapping gophers.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Stewart (Lisa) of Staples, Roger (Barb) of Nevis, Alvina (Ron) Morrison of Solway, Jon Chapman of Staples; brother in law, Darrel Johnson of Nimrod; four nieces; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Geri Johnson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
