Robert Vaughn

Robert L. Vaughn, age 74, of Pine River, formerly of Minneapolis and Anoka, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at his home. He was born January 4, 1936, to Lloyd and Eleanor Vaughn in Austin, MN. He married Shirley Delamater on April 7, 1956, in Northwood, IA. Bob was a bus driver and dispatcher for the Minneapolis School District for the Special Education students. He was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association Blue Water Chapter and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.

Bob is survived by his sons: Robert, Jr. (Diane), Eric (Mary Jane), Lance (Jan), Jason (Brenda); sister, Sandy Burkhead; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Shirley.

Services will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 22, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Backus. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Kline Funeral Home.
