Robert Sellnow

Robert G. Sellnow, 91, of Staples, died on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Lakewood Health System in Staples. Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Staples with Pastor Robin Collins officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Robert was born on October 18, 1920 in Staples, Minnesota to William and Anne Sellnow. He served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Robert married Pearl Judd upon returning from the Army. He was the manager/bartender at the Staples and Wadena VFW's. Robert enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, cooking, baking, and picking berries. Robert was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Staples.

Robert is survived by his children; Ray (Delores) Judd, Angie (Ray) Judd- Martin, Gerald (Darlene) Judd, and Carol (David "Ike") Cameron; brother, Larry Sellnow; his special friend, Audrey Zimmer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anne; wife, Pearl; daughter, Shirley Perry; son, Arnold Judd; grandson, Craig Cameron; one sister; and three brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
