Robert Peveto I

Robert “Rob” A. Peveto I, 46, of Brainerd died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence.  Services will be at 12PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter. Pastor Chuck Gifford will officiate and burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the chapel in Baxter.

Rob was born March 17, 1973 in Bay City, Texas to Oatha and Elda (Kilpatrick) Peveto.  By chance happening he met and established a friendship with Valerie Piecek; the couple was united in marriage on June 10, 2002 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  He worked in various industries, construction, fireworks, tattooing; and most recently for as a welder for Crow Wing County Recycle.  Rob enjoyed video games, tinkering, drawing when inspired, cooking with hot sauce/Siracha or gravy, and fireworks.  He had a great sense of humor and a mischievous smile that could light up the room.  Rob had a huge heart and would always be there to help a friend or family member in need, no questions asked.  He loved passionately and fought hard; Rob will be most remembered as giving, strong, and loud.  Rob loved his entire family beyond words; especially his children.

Rob is survived by his wife, Valerie; children, Storm Peveto, Robert Peveto II, Nicole Schuman, Chyanne Rolla, Andrew Meacham, Reychal Peveto, Blaine Peveto, Gage Peveto; bonus child, Paula Drahosh; five grandchildren; siblings, Dawn Joy Smith, Debra Courtney, Sandy Peveto Strickland, Francis Peveto Boyd, Melody Logsdon, Crystal Robinson, Peter Peveto, Mike Champion; and mother-in-law, Janet Piecek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; several siblings; father-in-law, Paul Piecek; and step father-in-law, Jon Brinkmeyer.
