Robert Hall

Robert Dale Hall, 88, of Brainerd, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Cloud Veterans Hospital. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Living Word North Church on Brainerd, MN with a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.

Robert was born August 30, 1922 in Primghar, IA, the son of Henry and Essie (Karekel) Hall. After graduating from high school, Robert enlisted in the US Navy and served his country during WWII. Bob was proud to be known as Mr. Puffo (the clown) for over nine years in the Brainerd Lakes Area. In 1990, he was united in marriage to Shirley Jean (Driver) Storey.

Robert will be missed by his wife, Shirley; his daughter, Donita Wilson, of Reno, NV; his brother and Richard Hall, of Southerland, IA; his sister, Alice Kloppenberg, of Cedar Rapids, IA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; step-children, Nita (Lou) Eibner, Susie (Jay) Rollinger, Tim (Rose) Fleischhacker, and Tom (Mary) Fleishhacker; seven step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
