Robert Evans

Robert “Bob” A. Evans, 56, of Brainerd, MN passed away unexpectedly at Essenia Health/St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, MN on Saturday, January 6, 2018. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the American Legion in Zimmerman, MN beginning at 1:00PM.

Robert was born on December 24, 1963 in Princeton, MN to Michael and Mildred Evans.

Bob enjoyed racing dirt bikes, snowmobiling, really anything with a motor. After an accident which left Bob paralyzed and given only six months to live, him and his family got to enjoy 26 more years because of his drive for life. Bob’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his mother, Millie Evans of Princeton, MN; daughter, Tiffany (John) Backen; granddaughters, Sophia, Skyler, and Shelby; sisters, Rita Boos, Nancy Dahlheimer, and brother Chuck; son, Josh Voight. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Leanne; father, Mike Evans; and grandson, Chase. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
