Robert "Bob" Merville Dunlap, age 85, a resident of Lake Hubert, Nisswa, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born in Milford, Massachusetts, on October 31, 1928, to Harold and Coolene Dunlap, and grew up in Hopedale, MA. Bob joined the Air Force when he was 17.
He married and settled down in Minneapolis where he was employed by G&K Laundry for many years. In 1976, he moved to Lake Hubert where he worked several years for and retired from the State of Minnesota in Brainerd while enjoying the birds, his garden and winter ice fishing.
Bob loved his over 50 years of trips with his old fishing and deer hunting buddies to Lake Kabetogama and the Upper Red Lake area and many years of fishing trips with his son.
He is preceded in death by his parents; half-brother, Stuart Dunlap; and an infant granddaughter, Ashley. He is survived by his son, Todd (Kimberly) Dunlap; grandchildren, Allyssa Dunlap and Haley Dunlap; step sister, Mary Ann Carter; and nephews, Christopher Dunlap (Kim) and Steven Dunlap all from Hopedale, MA.

A private family service will be held in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery, Nisswa.
