Robert DeHoff

Robert Walter DeHoff passed away on September 14, 2016 in Staples, MN after a brief fight with cancer. Services for Bobby will be 2:00PM, Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00PM, October 15, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Rural Binford, ND with Pastor Biberdorf officiating.

Bobby was born on June 23, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents are Charles Virgil and Alice Marie (Rahlf) DeHoff. They lived in several places while his Dad was in the Air Force, some of those being Atlanta, Georgia, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Finley and Fortuna, ND. Bobby was confirmed while the family was stationed overseas in Crete, Greece. He attended Binford High School and worked at Sheyenne Tooling, Binford Public Schools and Burlington Northern Railroad. Bobby loved all music, and loved to be with his friends.

Bobby is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Roy Harrison and Margaret Elizabeth DeHoff, his maternal grandparents William Jacob and Alice Dorothea Rahlf, infant sister Jane Marie, and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Bobby is survived by sons Steven Dahl, Valley City, ND; Roy DeHoff, John DeHoff, and Derek DeHoff all of Rochester, MN, his parents Chuck and Alice DeHoff, Binford, ND; brothers David DeHoff, Moorhead, MN; Charlie DeHoff, Binford, ND; sisters Laurie (Steve) Fisher, Valley City, ND; Julie Keller, both of Valley City, ND; Tina (John) Rice, Alexandria, MN and Angie (Chad) Sorensen, Larimore, ND; 5 grandchildren, 17 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. And his very special friend Bonnie Reger, who was the light of his life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
