Robert "Bob" O. Daniels, 95, of Lakeshore, MN died at his home on Saturday, July 18, 2015. A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. A Luncheon will follow at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room.
Bob was born on October 3, 1919 in Duluth, MN to George E. and Clara A. (Schwartz) Daniels. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was the owner of a sewer company in Wisconsin; broadcaster for KDHL in Duluth, MN (A CBS Affiliate); owner of two A&W's on the iron range and later built the Nisswa A&W. He previously owned the Privateer Hotel in Hawaii. Bob was a piano bar entertainer prior to obtaining a partnership in the Bar Harbor Supper Club in Lakeshore, MN. Bob enjoyed fishing, golf, hamm radio, but his true passion was always flying and being on the lake. A huge part of Bob's life was his dog, Sidney who he loved very much.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Daniels; granddaughter, Kim (Barry) Shirtz; great-granddaughter, Cassidy Shirtz all of Buhl, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clara; wives, Gleo (Punky) Mullen, Audrey Monson Anderson, and Dovey Johnson Pomeleau; and grandson, Aaron Orr. Memorials are preferred to Hart of Baxter, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
