Robert Cadwell

Robert "Bob" Cadwell, age 52, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was born to Sergeant First Class Bruce and Setsuko Cadwell on November 29, 1960, in Tokyo, Japan. With his father serving in the military, Bob spent his younger years in many different places around the world, even attending one year of school in Germany. He graduated from Pine River High School in 1980 then attended Staples Technical College in their Culinary Arts program. Bob and his first wife, Dawn, owned and operated Brookside Comfort Care in Pine River until Dawn's death in 2011. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Bob will be missed greatly by his family, friends and puppies.

Bob is survived by his wife, Holly; mother, Setsuko; sisters: Wanda Halvorson (Larry), Linda Cadwell; brother, John Cadwell; stepson, Eric Jadlicka; stepdaughter, Nicole Halverson; and grandson, Ronin Halverson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce; sister, Susan; and first wife, Dawn.

Services will be 3 PM on Tuesday, January 15, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River, with Pastor Marlys Korman officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
