Robert "Bob" Anthony Sr., 77, of Brainerd, passed away on Friday, July 31, at home. There will be a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, Aug 8th, at 1 pm at his treasured junk yard.
Bob was born to Quinn and Hazel (Erickson) Anthony on June 29, 1938 in Brainerd. He was married to Marian Clauthier on May 9th, 1967. Bob served in the National Guard for 9 years, and assisted during the Cuban Crisis. Bob was a member of American Vets Post #53 at Mille Lacs Reservation, where he served as Provost Marshall. He raised horses, mules and goats, and collected anything and everything. But most of all, he cherished the times with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by Marian, his wife of 48 years; daughters, Lori Jo Turner, Tammy Banks, Julia Anthony and Lisa Pendegayosh; sons, Robert Jr. (Wendy) and Quinn; sisters Bonita King and Terry (Jack) Peck; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
