Rita Faundeen

Rita M. Faundeen, age 81, of Nisswa, passed away peacefully, with family by her side on October 8, 2011, at Senior Class Care, Nisswa. She was born April 13, 1930, in Reading, MN.

Rita is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (David) Craig of Pequot Lakes, Marilyn (Mike) Pollack of Oceanside, CA and LaVonne (Steve) Hoppenrath of Champlin, MN; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Anna, Daniel, Anthony, Maria, Melanie, Michael, Lindy, Bryan and Chris; ten great grandchildren, Mariah, Madeline, Dominic, Damian, Brianna, Elena, Andrew, William, Landon and Shanley; two sisters, Berniece Johnson of Stanchfield, MN, Frances Christians of Marshall, MN and one brother, Kenneth Christians and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harm and Grace (Johnson) Christians; two sisters, Edna Huge and Irene Johnson.

Memorial services will be 11 AM on Saturday, October 15 at St. Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes with lunch following. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Private family inurnment will be at Jenkins Cemetery, Jenkins, MN. Special thanks to the kind care givers at Riverside Memory Care, Pine River, Senior Class Care, Nisswa and Heartland Hospice.
