Richard Gronquist

Richard Gronquist, age 84, of Pine River, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center in Pine River. He was born May 25, 1923 in Proctor, MN, to John and Agnes Gronquist. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by adopted children: Keith Gronquist of Isanti, Leo Gronquist of Tell City, IN, Cleo Kinnunen of Pine River; sister, Lucille Gatlin of Duluth; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Bernice; sister, Florence Duff; brothers: Ray, Clifford and Leslie.
Memorial service will be 11 AM on Saturday, June 7 at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church.
