Richard Edgeton

Richard Earl "Rick" Edgeton, 61, Pine River, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016, in Pine River. Rick was born September 30, 1954, in Wadena, MN, to Leo and Lois (Eastman) Edgeton. Rick married Carol Taray on April 4, 1981. They were married for 34 years. Rick was a grader operator for the Cass County Highway Department for 27 years. His family and particularly his grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Rick is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Shonna (Bob) Strom, Christy (Jason) Evison, Kyle (Mandy) Edgeton; brothers, Lyle (Jan), Russ (Glenda), Bernie (Kathy); sister, Kay; sister-in-law, Beverly; grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, Birtukan, Netsanet, Soren, Richard, Isaac, Daphne, Lydia and Jude; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lois Edgeton; and brother, Jim Edgeton.

Services will be 1 PM on Tuesday, January 12, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
