Richard Culbertson

Richard Culbertson, 76, of Randall, MN died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his home. Services for Richard will be 11:00AM, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN with Steve Suer officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be private at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls, MN.

Richard was born February 17, 1940 in Marshall, MN to Lynn and Bernice (Wild) Culbertson. He graduated from Marshall High School and entered the US Air Force and served in the Philippines. Richard was united in marriage to Ambrosia Manija on April 20, 1960. He worked paving roads and was a welder at Trinity Steel in New London-Spicer. Richard then went on to work at the Willmar State Hospital for 22 years, until his retirement. After retiring, they moved to Brainerd, and then to Enchanted Lakes, and eventually to Randall. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, kids and wife, horses, snowmobiling, fishing and old vehicles.

Richard is survived by his children, Richard Hepburn of Philippines, Janet Culbertson of Randall, MN, Patty Culbertson of Atwater, MN; sisters, Carrie Wheeler, Marilyn Wendy, Linda Nelson; brother, Dean Nelson; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Bernice; his wife, Ambrosia, and son, Merle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
