Richard Busker

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard “Rick” Allen Busker announces that he went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at the age of 67.

Richard “Rick” Allen Busker, son of the late Herman and Roberta Busker of Cushing, MN was born on March 10th, 1950 in Bertha, MN. Rick grew up working on the family farm and in 1970 he started working as a Union Pipefitter. After 16 years, Rick began a new venture as a builder and mason where he became known in the trade for his creativity, passion and ability to “always figure it out”. Rick was an avid outdoorsman and love to spend his time hunting and fishing. He was a pioneer of compound bow hunting and took great pride in the fact that he helped provide for his family by taking 599 whitetail deer in his lifetime with a bow. Rick was well known for spending time with his family and taking friends “under his wing” and instilling great work ethic in them. He would enjoy teaching them what he had learned in his years working in trades and the importance of family and working together.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Corey (Amy) Busker of Savage, MN, Luke (Tera) Busker of Roberts, WI, Rosalee (Justin) Evenson of Colorado Springs, CO, Dan Busker of Woodbury, MN, Michelle (Nathan) Sandeen of Lakeville, MN, Elizabeth (Tony) Ruiz of Flagstaff, AZ, Molly Busker of Golden, CO and Richard Busker of Minneapolis, MN; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Lewis Busker of Henning, MN; Darlene (Richard, Sr.) Gregerson of Cass Lake, MN; Donna (Clif) Sadlo of Browerville, MN; Grace (Cory) Jyrkas of Little Falls, MN; Beverly (Allen) Harrison of Junction City, KS; Bill (Vicki) Busker of Browerville, MN; Gloria (Janis) Veiss of Bemidji, MN; JoAnne (Randy) of Benton City, WA; Verna (Kevin) Olmschenk of Browerville, MN and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.

A Celebration of Ricks life will be held on May 26th 2018 at Bill and Vicki Buskers Residence in Browerville, MN.
