Richard Brown

Richard "Dick" Brown, age 73, of Backus, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the Fargo VA Hospital. He was born to Norman and Lorraine Brown on August 11, 1942, in Wayzata, MN. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1962 and again from 1964 to 1966.

Dick is survived by his son, Brian (Trish); and brothers, Jim (Barb) and Don (Twyla); and sister-in-law, Sandy Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred; and special friend, Lavada Erickson.

Services will be 1 PM on Friday, January 22, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
