Rebecca Siltman

Rebecca "Beckie" A. Siltman, age 34, of Brainerd, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2011, at Saint Cloud Hospital. She was born September 18, 1977, in Brainerd, Minnesota to Eugene and Mary (Potz) Siltman. Beckie grew up in Brainerd and Pequot Lakes, MN. She graduated from Pequot Lakes High School, class of 1996. She was a NASCAR race fan, especially, Dale Earnhardt. Beckie enjoyed many hobbies, crafts and knitting. She made many people smile with her silly laugh, had a heart of gold and had a love for animals. She will be truly missed by all.

Beckie is survived by her mother, Mary Potz Siltman of Pine River, MN; father, Eugene (Edith) Siltman of Backus; sister, Donnie (Robert) Anderson of Pequot Lakes, MN; brother, Eugene Siltman of Pine River, MN; fiance, Ron Hopkins of Brainerd, MN; maternal grandfather, Dale Potz of Cross Lake, MN; three nephews, Darion, Colton and Dayton, as well as cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Alghrim; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Martha Siltman.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, October 14 at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, Pequot Lakes with lunch following. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be 1:30 PM on Friday at Bethlehem Cemetery rural Backus. Memorial gifts may be directed to the family.
