Raymond Plautz

Raymond O. Plautz, 81, of Breezy Point, passed away on April 29, 2008 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes with Reverend Dr. David Stevens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Raymond was born January 8, 1927 in New Ulm, MN to Gustav and Ida Plautz. Rays first wife passed away March 30, 1978. He married Donna Johnson February 1, 1986. Ray worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes and the Pequot Lakes American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards, snowmobiling, fishing, woodworking, and golfing.

Ray will be missed by his wife, Donna and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dora; his parents, Gustav and Ida Plautz; and four sisters.
